Disgraceful. Feeding herbivorous reptiles things like that is cruel. Both those young tortoises are already showing signs of metabolic bone disease. The small one's shell is malformed around the pelvic area and the larger one has badly pyramiding scutes. Both those conditions are caused by a diet that's way too high in protein and/or incorrect humidity in their enclosure. I'm sure they don't eat pacakes all the time, but what they do get is causing them both major health issues. Its almost like having two deformed puppies on the andrex advert.

And he probably won't/didn't, but could he have laced it with calcium or some other thing that could help them? I don't think he did though...
