He still won't eat.

Stelly refuses to eat anything other than bloodworms. He's about 9 months old and 10" long.
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrites 0ppm
Nitrates 20ppm
PH 8.0 to 8.2
Temp between 15 to 18 depending on the day
Tons of caves and hides, live plants, sand. Same set up from day 1.
Refuses night crawlers, red wigglers, pellets.

Will only eat frozen blood worms and some times krill.

Rarely poops. Like.... once every 2 weeks. Can't live on blood worms for ever. Even tried cutting back to every 3 days wih blood worms. Still won't eat other foods.

I don't agree with this, but I know a lot of Instagram axolotl keepers who have adult axolotls and they just feed them bloodworms, never anything else. They all look decent health/size so don't panic too much.

We have wax worms and butter worms because of our Bearded Dragon, and sometimes black soldier fly larva (which he LOVED when he was a baby,) so I can try those.

I guess I can do bloodworms if that's all he will eat. Can he be healthy enough on them that I can feed every 2 or 3 days? Blood worms every day is a pain in the as*!!!

He went to his bowl tonight so I tong fed him 2 mouthfuls of blood worms and then he walked away.... -__-
