Hello all, n00b here

I was given the mystery salamanders. All I know is they were caught in North Carolina. They are still in the larval state and I having trouble ID'ing them.

Welcome to the forum! I'm not expert at id-ing sals but I'd guess from the genus Gyrinophilus or Pseudotriton. Also see here.

Thanks! That's what my best guess was too after spending an hour browsing the site. I was hoping for them to be dwarf Water dogs.
