Hi folks,
My name is Kyle and I am the proud owner of 2 axolotls (one wildtype and one leucistic). I've had these fellas for 3 and 2 years respectively. I also have an alternate tank originally created for breeding rosie reds as that is my primary food source for them (wondering if anyone has any thoughts on that as I haven't seen them as a regular food source in my brief excursions on this site), however they also get earthworms, and the occasional ghost shrimp if any algae develops in the tank (let the shrimp work until it gets eaten). Additionally, that tank was boring so it is also populated with the only fun cool water fish I know of: loaches. At any rate, nice to meet you all. Furthermore, thank you to all of you who have posted/still post on this site. It has been a fantastic resource for myself and friends who have fallen in love with keeping Axies and truly helped us make the best lives for our pets as we could!
