Hello! Long time fan of salamanders new to caudata.org. I live in NC and have done a lot of field herping in the past year- I've seen over half of our states snakes and about a dozen of the salamanders. Great state for seeing herps. I am also a semi-new proud mom of two marbled newts! They have been eating well due to many of the suggestions I've read on this site, after some initial difficulty getting them to eat. Good to meet you all I'm thankful to have found a site with such a plethora of information
