Howdy, I'm a lawyer by trade and Ive always loved these little amphibians. Im looking into keeping my first newts and its all a bit overwhelming deciding on a species, so I welcome people who want to chat and help me figure it out!

Welcome. I started with Cynops orientalis and Pleurodeles waltl. They are "fully" aquatic and can cope with warmer temps compared to lots of other species. Check their caresheets on caudata culture.
