Greetings from Alaska!
I'm relatively new to amphibian companionship, but am thoroughly enjoying my trio of Chinese Fire Belly newts. They are totally sweet. I've been interested in newts since I was a kid and my best friend told me she had found some on Shelter Island when she was camping (t. granulosa, perhaps?). We don't have a lot of amphibians up here, so the novelty totally fascinated me. In addition to the newts, we have five dogs, two cats, two ferrets, one angora bunny, a goldfish and a pleco. We also have snails, though I don't have a good count on them. I guess, in terms of what my interest is here, I am looking for advice and am interested in other people's pets. Oh, and I love the pictures. There's some incredibly talented photogs on here. Wow.
Take care and talk to you soon,
Julie
