Hello from Sydney...

Hello... Just joined the forum to get some information on my girlfriends up and coming axolotyl tank.

I don't go into anything half-hearted so just collecting as much info as possible before she takes the plunge.

Currently I am building a 4x2x2 which will be a ADA planted discus tank, already have a standard 2 footer housing a bunch of fish (albino bristlenose, clown loach, cardinal tetras)... And also have a Eclectus parrot... Turning into a bit of a zoo actually.

Well, looks like there is a lot of info on here for me to get started. I'll get a new tank journal going when the new tank arrives.

The people here are great & are more than happy to help people out with advise. The forum is a great place to start, you will find a lot of answers to questions that you probably have and if you can't find the answer, just post the question and some body will assist you with some advise pretty quickly.

I'm going to jump right in with my own ignorance on display: am I the only one here who doesn't understand the phrase "ADA planted discus tank"? In my defense, I do understand the words "planted" and "tank".

I'll get a new tank journal going when the new tank arrives.

Does that mean you'll blog it here for us?
