Hello from VA!

Hello all! I'm a newby to all of this and doing my research before purchasing my first salamander. I've had friends that have been into herping for years, and as a kid I was the one fishing out salamanders from lakes and ponds, but outside of a vague "it would be nice to have some one day" I never really got into it.

Aaand then I saw the dwarf siren, fell in love, and now have a 29 gallon tank, several deco items, gravel and sand, and am researching filters and lids.
