Hi I'm new here, I ran into 'water dogs' aka tiger salamander larvae today at the petshop, but was dissapointed to find out that they do turn into salamanders, but remembered that there are something that don't turn into a salamander, the axolot. After some searching I found this site.

A little about me...

I have three dogs, two American pit bull terriers, and an English setter. I have had newts and frogs as a child, but they never lived long, because I was 8 and my parents didn't really care.

Currently I have two goldfish in the healing process, that I bought from a petshop, they were beat up pretty bad by something and were left in a tank to die. And two senegalas bichirs, one albino and one regular that I've had them for three years almost.

I'm interested in learning about the albino axolot and getting a tank set up for one possibly now or in the near future. I am from the U.S.
