Hello, new to axolotls!

Hello!

I just joined here because I'm really interested in getting a few pairs of the JellyFish Protein Axolotls, and also having the axolotl community there incase I have any questions! I am a teacher and my school has an AWESOME herpetology club that has now been turned into an elective class.

I am no stranger to the world of amphibians. I have kept and raised several differnent species of African Clawed Frogs (Xenopus spp.) and Dwarf frogs. I even have a piedbald ACF, my pride and joy I also have a paddle tail newt that is HUGE, the biggest I've ever seen. He is ancient And two Oregon Newts that are such characters.

I'm ready to set up a really cool Axolotl tank. (We may be getting a donated 180 gallon!!!!) And this site looks like the right place to be!

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the guy who is going to have some of the GFP Axolotls available in a few weeks? He posted in the for sale/available section but I can't post over there for some reason. I did email him though. I really want 4-6 of the axolotls. Two for my classroom, and the rest for the herpetology club.

hi i see you've worked with clawed african frogs i have one that looks like the shrek frog ballon- i don't think its funny it just looks that way- it kinda jiggles I've called 6 pet shops and noone knows what to do for it its eating great any advice on meds i can use would be great
