Hey everyone, I'm a relatively new keeper of two alpine newts! I'm from Utah and got them from a local classifieds site. I apologize for introducing myself a little late, I joined a couple of months ago when I first got the newts. I have two females in a 20-gallon tank and so far everything has been going pretty well. I'm a huge biology nerd and I've always loved learning about the crazy life cycle that amphibians have. These aren't my first amphibians (I've had frogs in the past) and I've assisted family and friends with keeping salamanders before but this is my first time keeping them myself! I really appreciate all of the information this site has provided me already, but if anyone has any tips on keeping alpines, I'd be happy to hear it! BTW, I'm keeping my eye out for a couple of males to add to the tank if anyone has any leads as they seem to only be available periodically in the US.
