hi my name is joe i breed rare turtles and torts and am now looking into breeding newts and salamanders im looking into breeding iran newts and spotted and marbled salamanders... can some 1 please point me to some 1 that has experience with these species or knows where i can buy some?

:happy:Hey Joe, I also keep turtles. I have one eastern box turtle that is currently hibernating. Anyways, Ambystomids aren't commonly bred in captivity. However spotted and marbled salamanders still make great pets. Also, I wouldn't really reccomend Iranian newts as beginner captives. This site has great care information www.caudata.org/cc Research different species you are interested in and their requirements. If you're interested in obataining any animals, try the "For Sale" section.

hi...... eastern box turtle are 1 of the first turtles ive ever bread i currently have 10 eastern box turtles and just got two paddle tail newts and im going to see how it goes with these and im getting some eastern newts so if i do good with them im going to try iran newts i hope all goes well because i love to breed rare things like turtles and now i want to breed rare newts

Be careful with those two paddletails. They are known to be very aggressive.

Welcome to the forum Joe!

Good luck with your endeavors.
