New axolotl owner here. I brought some eggs home from the lab where I work, and three weeks later ... I now have 14 babies! I'm excited to be joining this community and embarking on my axie journey! Expect lots of questions

Oh, and I also have an Eastern newt named Sgt. Pepper.

Our lab primarily focuses on behavior and neurobiology. Currently, one of the grad students is studying courtship behavior and pheromone dispersal in axolotls.

Turns out, when you put a courting male and female in a tank together ... eggs can happen!
