I have an axie, around 3 years old. She’s been healthy for the whole time I’ve had her until now. A couple weeks ago, I noticed she had a scratch on her face, from what i assumed was her running into a rock. I’ve been keeping an eye on it and it’s developed into a hole right under her eye. She’s been eating and she’s active. Does anyone have any advice for what to do in this situation??

That looks almost like what happened to my axolotl when she was little and living at my friend's house. Honestly, if you have the money, I would recommend seeking out a veterinarian. You may have to call around to find an amphibians expert.

Hiya

that looks pretty sore. I’d recommend you find a vet as antibiotics are your best course of action. In the meantime I’d start her on tea baths made with black tea three times a day.
