Okay so I've had my Axie about a year. She's about full grown.. about 9 and a half inches and I have started to look into breeding her. i have a long distance friend who also has an axie, and we were entertaining the idea of having her bring her axolotl up and seeing if we could breed them.

Hers would be on a bus for about 8 hours, with her the whole time, and I have a spare tank ready in case they fight or something. She would be here for about a week before leaving again. Do you guys think that would be enough time for her axolotl to get used to the new tank to breed with mine?

We figure they can be shipped for days at a time as babies so surely adult ones would be okay for a bit of a trip, right?

Thanks guys. Sorry if this seems silly.

Breeding requires the right conditions. Its not as simple as it may seem.

Read this article for information on breeding:
Axolotls - Breeding Axolotls Successfully

Transporting is doable but you must ensure the Axolotls safety and that the water can maintain temperature. Doubt you'd get any breeding done if the Axolotl arrives stressed.
