He is about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 years old, has always been quite skinny and never grown that big. But he is looking really swollen at the moment especially around his mouth. Also his mouth is now always open. This is recent as he looked good and healthy when his tank was cleaned about 3-4 days ago. Now he looks swollen (maybe his body also) and his mouth always stays open. Im really concerned as christmas is approaching and Marvin is part of the family. Devastated if something happens to him. Appreciate any advice, truly. Thanks.

Photos would be really useful.
What are you feeding him and how often?
What are you water quality parameters and temperature?
Is he in a tank alone or with others? How big is the tank?
If this is recent has anything changed in the last week?
Is he definately a he?
The swelling could be anything - constipation, overfeeding, kidney failure, bloat, female egg retention - so with photos and a bit more information we will be able to help you better.

He eats blood worms and brine shrimp. And no idea if he is definitely a he.
Nothings changed, his tank go cleaned last week. Also whats worrying is he was in this position last night when I went to bed, now he looks more swollen.

Have you checked the mouth to see if anything is obstructing it?

At that age your axie should be eating earthworms, this is nutritionally the best way to help them grow and give them everything they need.
I cant see your pics at the moment but is there anything like plastic plants or hides that he could have accidentally snapped at and cut his mouth?
Have you looked inside to see if there is anything lodged in his throat?
It sounds like there is an obstruction causing him to hang his mouth, is he still taking food?

I'd say he's tried to eat something he shouldn't - a rock maybe? You need to look in his mouth.
Some of those rocks are way too small for an axie tank - you'd be surprised at how big an axie's mouth is. Have you ever seen this xray of an axie who swallowed a rock?
And yes, he should be on earthworms if he's fully grown.
