Help! New axolotl owner

I just brought an albino axolotl from a pet store. It seems to have green tips on the fingers of its arms and is missing its gills! Can I help it in anyway?!

I would imagine time patience and good animal husbandry are your best bet. Axolotls are almost magical in their ability to heal themselves :happy:

Post some pics of your lotl - try to get problem areas in shot.

Also include a picture of the whole tank - just in case we can see an issue you haven't realised yet.

Have you got water tests kits to check Ammonia / Ph / Nitrite / Nitrate, what are the tanks parameters? what's the tanks temperature? Temperature can play a role in healing - as can keeping the water clean & healthy.
