HELP VERY SICK AXOLOTL! please PLEASE help!!!

Please help, my big boy is very sick, he has very bad fungus, and his beautiful full gills have shrunken to almost nothing! his tank mates have all died from the same thing, i was away on holiday and the 'caretaker' didnt know anything about ph, the water condition is AWFUL!
you have to help, my boy is so strong and hardy, he has survived everything my other axolotls havent and he looks his very worse!
the fungus is hurting him alot!
he is in the fridge now, the only thing i can think of is salt bathing but he HATES IT jumps out of the water HATES and im to scared to try it! im not even sure how to do it properly!
im FREAKING OUT please HELP HELP ME!

Hi.. At the top of this page there is a search link..Type in ..Salt Bath..click go, and when the list comes up you will see Salt bath Picture Tutorial about the 4th entry.. If you click on there you will be able to see how to give a salt bath .. I hope this helps and your Axie makes a full recovery

I followed Johnny's advice and after 2 weeks (panicking and thinking it wasn't working)my boy made a full recovery:happy: He showed no signs of distress and continued to eat well during treatment. Good luck I really hope he gets better soon xx
