Hi, my axolotl was totally fine until yesterday, but I found him suffering, having a curly gills today.. I tried to feed him but he wouldn't eat.

I have no idea what is wrong. My other two axolotls were fine.

So I'm no expert, but I've learned from a lot of my mistakes with my axolotl. I'm guessing he was in a separate tank with the other two and you moved him? What substrate is in the tank? Also, do you know the water parameters?

Yes, I use river sand for the floor.. You mean the water hight? its about 13 to 14 cm my temperature is fine too...

I'm guessing it's not the water quality if you're other two are fine, but do you know what your ammonia and nitrite levels are?
