Hey, so noodle my axolotl has always had a little bobble under his eye, but recently it's gotten bigger. Today it had popped with white stuff came out. There is now an open hole at the top of his eye. Please help

First off, I would make sure the water is clean and such to prevent infection. That being said, an infection could have caused this. So make sure your tank is stable and the water stays clean. I would try and get him to a vet. I am not sure what this is, but I wish you luck!

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
