I second this...

Gravel is not recommended & there are many threads on here about the dangers & awful realities of ingestion. It's not worth the risk - you cannot stop them from eating it - no matter how you feed them their natural instinct is to forage

They are all lovely - I would hate them to suffer with gravel building up in their guts. You'd be amazed how much gravel they would produce (regurgitation/ eventually pooped out) if you put them onto bare bottomed tank.
