hi Zoe
All is good in Oz. Where you been????

erm, New York, Niagara, Philadelphia, Some other states and Canada!

lol...

and you???

They are absolutely fine! Did a 3/4 clean up on the tank, I removed them but podge got a bit vexed and nearly sploshed water all over my room...All was fine though and the tank no longer smells...lol!

The worms kept dying though and so yesterday I ordered a worm farm thing, for kiddies, on ebay and some small worms. It all came today and I set it up so I will see how it goes...

Youurs?

That sounds like a great holiday. I wish I was with you. Glad to hear the axies are good. I was thinking about starting a worm farm for my kids to look after....

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
