Hey everyone! My name is Randi and I’m in Idaho. I have two Axolotls and have had them about a year and a half and bought them from a local breeder so I’m not sure how old they are. Our female is albino with pink gills and our male is a dark melanoid. Our female just laid her first batch of eggs and so we are trying to navigate what to do.

I have no clue of how to take care of Axolotl eggs (maybe someone else can help with that) but might I just say that they are adorable! Good luck with those eggs and welcome to Caudata!

it looks like you will have to separate them to prevent further breeding as it can take a toll on the female although reducing the temperature might deture them.
