Hi Iam new to this but i must share the fun in my garden last week i was locked and because i could get in the garrage i decided to have a look at our pond with a trakkers headlight. Bare with me on this as i hear you all laughing.
When I went down and shone the light i counted 10 newts and i think they are palmate.
There has been strange activity this week and I think the females are now laying eggs and wrapping them in elodea
