My name is Sarah and I'm from Melbourne in Australia.

I got my first axolotl today and his name is Maxolotl. He's a white albino and is the cutest thing ever!

Anyway my friend told me about this site when I was looking for information how to look after him so I thought I'd join cos I will probably have lots of questions being an axolotl n00b

Hi sarah, im James im new here too. I new nothing about these
little guy's when I first found Caudata.com and now I have over 40 walker's.
(my kids nick name for the axoltls)
The names of my axolotls are Bart and Lisa.

hehe I named him Maxolotl as I always go with rhyming names I have Mactus the Cactus and a few years ago Mishy the Fishy (a goldfish). Dunno what I will call another axolotl if I get one

Funny you should ask that, my son of three years saw a groovy little gold axolotl at the pet shop and that's what he called it.I wanted to purchase it but like i said earlier i have more than enough.
