Please help me! This is the first time I have frogs, I know that my treefrog is probably Asian Flying Treefrog, or that's what I've been told.

Thanks.
Agnes :)

Hi not entirely sure but looks like Big-eyed Tree Frog (Leptopelis vermiculatus).

I have no exspirience about frogs, so do you think my treefrog is Big-eyed Tree Frog (Leptopelis vermiculatus)?I have really no idea about what kind of frogs that is, this is my first time and it's going really well so far :)

What about the other frog?

The second specimen is a really nice frog. I never seen anything like that.
In my opinion can be one of the genus "Afrana"
Bye!;)

Hello,
it's very hard to determine the Leptopelis species. There ar some other species looking very similar. A good help would be a information about their locality.
There are some very good books about african amphibians at www.chimaira.de . Most of the books are english language.

Bye Martin

Thx Martin for the answer :)

I've split them up in 2 cages now. I'm gonna try to get them to eat more often and grow.

The tree-frog barks or sings, makes some sounds at least. Does that mean that he's a male? He does it every evening.

The tree frog is a Leptopelis sp, but I don't think it is L vermiculatus. It is very similar, but has a more pointed nose and slightly different body type than L vermiculatus. He is a male. :)

I don't know what the other frog is, but he's pretty cool looking.

But my treefrog is now about 6 cm long, slighty over 6. Can he be with asian flying treefrog in cage that's about 8 cm?
