Hi! I just purchased my first "caudata" - a marbled salamander - and I'm already in love. I'm completely new to this and anxious 24/7 since she loves to hide a lot and I don't want to bother her much, but I think with a couple days I will adjust to this. I'm just so worried she'll get sick or die or something bad will happen because I'm inexperienced, and it's making me sick to my stomach.

Anyways, I'm glad to join the community, and I hope I can be active on here for a while

Be careful if you feed her crickets; any uneaten ones will start biting HER. I lost one salamander that way and I still feel bad.

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that! I've lost a bearded dragon that way, so I've always been cautious of cricket. Thanks for the advice
