Hideaways?

I just got two axolotls, they are at the store waiting for me to pick them up, they where a gift for Christmas. I still need a few things including hideaways. I'm not made of money and I believe in reusing things so I was wondering what types of things could be suitable. I have a few reptile hides that I never use for my Gecko could I use that? I forget what it's called but it's that fake rock stuff you see in many reptile hides. Also I used to have hamsters and have a ton of hides made for hamsters. Ceramic, plastic, wood, you get the idea. Would any of these work for an Axie? Please comment below!! Even if you don't know if I could use these items or not please comment what you use. Most plastics and ceramics are fine, reptile hides are usually resin and good too.
I have plastic guttering and pvc pipes, terracotta plant pots and aquarium resin logs for hides. Just make sure there are no sharp edges.
