I have two axolotls Tuco is ~5" and Chalco ~3". Tuco in a 10G tank and Chalco in a 20G. Would it be advised to introduce them in the same 20G tank? I have a picture of them beside each other.
Welcome!! I'm also in Canada I'm of the school of thought, so to speak, that it's often better to go bigger (unless the animal needs to find it's food if you're not tong-feeding or if they're breeding and need to find each other). I often like to go 50% bigger than the recommended enclosure size. All the best!
