I have two axolotls Tuco is ~5" and Chalco ~3". Tuco in a 10G tank and Chalco in a 20G. Would it be advised to introduce them in the same 20G tank? I have a picture of them beside each other.

Also what looks like black gravel is a soft volcanic soil, as it is a planted tank. The soil seemed soft enough not to pose a choking hazard..

Hi and welcome to the forum! Did you name him Tuco from the Good The Bad And the ugly?

Welcome!! I'm also in Canada :) I'm of the school of thought, so to speak, that it's often better to go bigger (unless the animal needs to find it's food if you're not tong-feeding or if they're breeding and need to find each other). I often like to go 50% bigger than the recommended enclosure size. All the best!

Hey Cloppy, no i named him Tuco after breaking bad
