It was hot at the Hamburg, Pa reptile show today. I was rotating salamanders out of the cooler and icing things down. When it stopped being fun I packed up and went home. That was around 2:00 to 3:00 in the afternoon. I will do the same at the August 4 2012 Hamburg reptile show.

One of my friends brought a brick to the show for me with the word salamander on it. Oddly enough I didn't know what he was bringing me and I picked up a brick for him that morning. This is the first time we ever exchanged bricks. Coincidence or psychic phenomena?

I guess it was good you guys didn't throw them at eachother.

PsychIC or PsychO??

I want to see a picture of this brick! I have an extensive brick collection. There were many brickworks along the Hudson, and I get them kayaking and use them to make walkways in my garden.

I've seen your bricks and they are impressive but....
Picture to follow.

Woodbridge Once Had Worldwide Clay Deposits That Were Used To Create All Types Of Brick. In The Late 1700's And Early 1800's, Shiploads Of Clay Were Being Sent To Other Large American Cities. Infact, The Land Where Woodbridge Center Mall Was Owned By The Almasi Family (Who Now Still Own A Small Parcel Of Land At The Edge.) The Whole Land Was A Huge Clay Bank. There Was Also Several Brick And Block Manufacturers Throughout Woodbridge. In 1825, The Salamander Brick Works Plant Was Built Alongside The Woodbridge River Creek. The Salamander Plant Produced Fire Brick.
