The eggs have been sitting in the tank (in a netting box type thing that was reccommened to me) for 6 days now.
The temperature is around 20 degrees, they have a small amount of water flow and some air bubbles from my pump travel through the netting.

Is this okay for the eggs?
How long will it take for them to hatch in these conditions?
Thanks

They could hatch any time now. Have the eggs changed shape from being circles to crescent shape? A little before mine hatched they began to move a lot more.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
