Question: How long will it take until smokey dies of not eating?

smokey has had fungus on the gills and she's had it since tuesday and she's still alive but how long does she have left PLEASE HELP!
 
what are your water parameters?

is smokey in the fridge?

are you giving him/her salt baths?

what are you feeding smokey?

and smokey can go weeks with out eating. When you fridge Smokey the likely hood of smokey eating will lessen but he will be ok.

no i havnt been fridging her but when i bath her i do but i dont do salt baths anymore i use gentamine washes it doesnt harm them like salt baths and its perfectly safe for them and i feed her earth worms and axolotl pellets and its a 60ltr tank

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
