I have my tank finally cycled and ready to go. My question is how to acclimate them to the tank water? I have the 3 guys in different tubs right now and don't think the tubs will float to keep them in those to acclimate. What could I use to acclimate them?

Try adding small amounts if tank water at a time to their containers and leave them in the same room

They are in the same room. I think the water is pretty much the same temp just want to be safe. I was thinking I might get some fish bags from petsmart to add them to make things easier.

Get some airline tubing and start a siphon. Then tie and a knot in the airline tubing. Tighten the knot until there is a constant drip of water coming through the tube. Then just let the that water drip for about 15min - 30 min.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
