I raised two green salamanders (aneides aenus, CB) from when they were only an a couple inches long or so. Now they are full grown 4-5 inches. When they were small, I used to see them all the time. They would frequently climb on the front glass of the tank and hang from the lid/mister nozzles. As they got older though, they have gotten significantly better at hiding. It is to where I will not see them for months as a time and I don't even know if they are alive. I have almost taken down the tank more than once because of this. What can I do or change to get it so they come out more?
