Hunting the Aneides trifecta

Went out hunting the Aneides trifecta.... mostly found flavipunctatus but manged all three species so the trip was a success.

















these all spotless individuals are from a different location about 25 miles from the others. I have seen spotless or nearly spotless individuals but they never have this blue and silver frosting on their limbs and tail... a very unique population.

Love the lugubris shots, they have so much character! I used to find them in the woodpile by my house when i lived in sonoma county.
 
Gorgeous! Me and a few friends are going herping this friday. Hopefully we'll find some caudates!
 
You almost can't beat a day like that, almost. Someone who lurks on this site got the same trifecta last week within a few square yards! Just had to show me up with my own locality info, LOL!
