I hope you guys don't mind but I drew this picture of my lotl today and I'm so happy and proud about how it came out. Just wanted to share it with you guys! Anyone else have proud pictures they made of their pets or had made for them?

ah man that's really cool! I love how sparkly it is :3

I bought a small canvas (like 4x4 inches) and I'm planning to paint a portrait of my leucistic, Charm, but I haven't had the time to do it yet. It'll probably be a summer project.

Awesome, I've jotted down a few pictures of my guy in my journal but not in color. That looks just amazing

That is awesome! I really love how it turned out, the markers give it a watercolor like appearance :D

This is amazing!! Love your drawing!! Did you do this using alcohol based markers like copics?

Wow! This is gorgeous! I wish I had at least some artistic talent so I could draw my new girl. I guess obsessively taking pictures will have to do for now :p

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
