I notice it a few days that one of my female tree frogs as a fat butt. i can see some of the cricket part coming from it. I used a wet Q-tip to gently wipe and remove some of it poop. I then soak her in a amphibian ringer's solution. And every day i wouuld soak her in the water to hep her poop it out better. Its been a few day and she looks thin and this morning she was on the wall and see some kind of fluid stain running down. Not sure if it pee. Has anyone experience this before ?

I guess i can use kanaplex 2:1 with water to keep with the infection and bacteria infection interior

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
