Illness/Sickness: I thought he had ick but now he has a bruise??

I don't know what is wrong with my axolotl - I thought he may have ick but some other forums told me it may be just normal pigmentation. But I did a full water change and separated Swampert (my axolotl) into a container for the day while the filter worked it's cleaning magic. When I saw him again he almost looked ~pale~, pooped so much but his random white spots seemed to disappear. So I scooped him into the tank as to not contaminate the water and he seems happy but like I said. The white spots I noticed two days ago seemed to have 'fallen off' but now it seems like he has a bruise on his tail.

I have no idea what to do next - he is back in his tank and swimming around happily (what I think is 'happily').

PLEASE - does anyone have ANY advice on how to move forward with treating this, or if there even is a treatment (aka it's normal to occur).

I can't really see much from the photos. What are the water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and temperature? Is he eating well? Have you used any products in the water? Sorry for all the questions but i think it would be good to know these things to have a better idea of what could be happening

I don't mean to be rude but I can't see the bruise on his tail very clearly. Does it look like black pigmentation? Is it raised? Is it a different colour than the spots covering his body? I also agree with Skudo - water parameters are super important.
