Ick or something else? Natural Color?

I got this guy from a pet shop that i found out had high nitrites and ammonia in the water, There was 3 wild types like this one, notice the spot on the belly and the head?
well the other ones had it too but its only 1 or 2 spots, so not sure if its something to worry about or if its just the natural pattern,
I think ich is more than 1 or 2 spots..

I have a wild with a 'beauty spot' looks similar to this.

Dont think it looks harmful at all.

Is it skin like in texture?

Looks to me like large iridophores. Are they flat, skin-like and shiny when light is shone on them? If they shine a gold colour, they're probably just iridophores. My wildie is covered in them!

That said, obviously keep an eye on it in case it is something else, but if it's flat and skin-like, like Mel said, they're probably iridophores or just markings.
