I think maybe just nobody knows the plants. Where did you get them? the bottom one to me looks a bit like an african violet, and is the upper one some kind of succulent?
Maybe if you take the pictures back into the store and ask someone that stocks or orders for that area, they can tell you what they are.

It took me a while to remember the web site I expected to find these on. I think they might both be peperomia plants. Which subspecies I can't say for sure.
If you google for peperomia you'll find a lot of different plants, the family has 500 members.
