I have a 2 year old wild axie. Since she was a few months old, she has had a "freckle" or white spot on her head. It has gotten larger and more prominent. It looks more like a depression in skin now. No fungus issues that I can tell. Is this something of concern or just a genetic spot that lacks melanin? Otherwise, she is healthy and eats great. Here are some progression pictures.

Hi there!

It seems normal to me! I also have a wild type who appears to have golden spots like yours on his mouth, his tail and his legs. I also have a leucitic with black spots on her head that started to appear with age.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment.

Is it reflective? in the first photo it looks gold colored, and appears to lighten up as she matures...could it be a cluster of irridophores?

Here's a picture of my little guy. You can look at his tail and his head :)
