Interview request OK?

Is it OK for a reporter to post a request for interviews, assuming that it's a topic pertinent to the board?
 
I don't have a problem with it. Interviews for anything in particular? What medium do you work for?
 
I think it's OK. Would be best if you say what publication it's for.
