Just brought home the newest addiction feeding axolotl
as yet unnamed but leaning towards Sunshine (yup sad I know!)
This is a Squishy sibling & until today has spent it's life in a goldfish bowl
(& not a very large one) fed on pellets & never had a worm! She/he is a good 1inch shorter than Squishy & needs fattening up
I've been watching & it's interesting to see that the back legs barely function - lying against the tail - they can work but are very skinny & it seems like a learning curve to use them - I'm thinking this is from being in a bowl with no hide or traction & this guy has basically just swum around :-/ it'll be interesting to see how long the muscles take to gain tone. BOOT CAMP

In the travel pack

From above + 1st worms ever!

Side view

First time seeing rear legs forward

More wormies

Just saying Hi
What colour is this one? Golden Albino or wild type - I haven't seen the pink eye as much as a wild type eye - but this would be the first albino I've had so I'm confused
I'm going to keep him separate until we can bulk up that skinny tummy!
