I've only just seen this thread- what a beautiful axolotl! Did you use a divider when you first introduced it to Squishy and Splatt? I'm hoping to put Churro in with Taco soon but am really nervous as they have both always lived alone.

No I didn't need the divider - I made sure there was plenty of hides & they were all open ended not cave style, so as to avoid anyone feeling cornered. I also make sure to break up the area with different paths so if they want to avoid each other they can

After sunbeam was quarantined he went straight in with the others - I made sure to change up the tank at the same time - so as they discovered the tank they discovered a new friend

Touch wood I've had zero issues with them fighting or nipping so I thank my lucky stars its all still going well

Lol! Was looking at the pics and was like "Is that Missy..." Seems that the eye shadows are a genetic thing (She incidentally also says "hi" to all the siblings )

This isn't one of Kerry's goldens - this one is actually Squishys sibling

She's settling in really well & is almost as big as Squishy now.

Apparently I'm getting yet another sibling in July when the owners move overseas something to look forward to!

Still SOOO cute!!I wonder if it's a girl copper thing then... I think in a few years' time when i feel brave enough to raise another large lot of eggs, I shall see if I can get an answer
