Is Crunchie sick?

Thats a cool name karrie but wont steal your name, thinking freckles.
 
Theres some pics of Chokito (my hubby chose that instead of freckles) in axie gallery. He/she looks alot healthier than Crunchie did when I first got him. Chokito's gills are alot fluffier. Fingers crossed he/she doesnt get sick. I only had Crunchie for a month, but it was long enough to fall in love with him.

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
