I have been feeding my one remaining baby and the others died mysteriously. Maybe from not eating, genetics, change in water, impossible to say for sure. The one I have left looks to be doing fine, but I checking him a few hours ago and his little belly is just maxed out with blackworm. I know fish can die from too much food, but I know you are supposed to feed axie babies quite alot. The floor of the tank has bits of blackworms all over the place, but I was thinking better too much then not enough for the guy to find.

feeding too much could cause the food to rot in his gut. ive had no experience with feeding babies so i cant tell you how much theyre supposed to be eating sorry

How old is it? When they're young (under an inch or two), I leave food in for them all the time, even if they look like they're about to burst. Once they get older, then I take out what food they don't eat after 20 minutes or so.
