Is my Axolotl sick?

So I got two Axolotls two weeks ago and just two days ago I just noticed this little thing forming on the top gill of the Axolotls Left side. The white thing hasn't grown at all since then, and she's been eating just fine. The water parameters are just fine the temp is usually at 67 degrees F, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate are all good according to the API Freshwater Test kit. and I've been doing 50% water changes every other day. Here are some photos for context. Let me know what I need to do or if I'm over-reacting.

If it's the whiteness near the end of the middle gill on the left side of picture, that looks exactly like some fungal growth I was dealing with a few weeks ago. Another user, @Calgarycoppers, suggested using low doses of salt in the water, which cleared it up nicely.
