I noticed a while back that stardust was looking incredibly swollen on the male regions. He is around 6 inches so quite small for his age I think he could be a mini lotl. He is around 6 months old I think. Anyways I feed him daily on worms as of today ( he was being fed every other day but is looking a bit thin), he has bare bottom tank with a plant pot hide a filter and an artificial plant. He seems fine in himself, has a huge appetite Is eating and pooing lots. He has big fluffy beautiful gills. Today when I went and checked on him he looked more red than usual in the male regions. I'm not sure if this is just the way it looks on the glass, stardust isn't very trusting and won't let me pick him up in the water to get a better look. What does everyone think. Thankyou. Ps excuse the dirty tank he'd just been fed and made a big mess for me to clean up.

Yup....getting ready to the spermatophores bit. Did you raise him yourself?.....he looks older than six months

No there isn't a female in the tank thank goodness I I'm already raising 130 babies. I had stardust from about 3-4 inches but he is little for his age or I at least think not in his male regions though sorry I just checked in on the email as I didn't think I'd got the age right he's 8 or 9 months now sorry.
