Is this good for an Axolotl tank?

Hello Caudata folks! My Leucistic Axolotl is coming tomorrow, and I just want to make sure this tank is fit for one.. He's 4 inches btw

I DIDN'T GET ANY DECORATIONS OR SMALL SHELTERS YET, SO HOLD YOUR HORSES! IM PLANNING TO GET THEM TODAY:happy::D

Not a good filter... Will create a lot of water flow. Have you checked the temperature and parameters?

I would worry about some of those rocks being a bit sharp. Also is that a 5.5 or a 10 it looks smallish.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
